EARBUDi Turns Apple Ear Buds into Running Ear Buds
Here’s a pretty nifty product I came across recently while browsing the back end of an old edition of Mac World magazine. If you’re still using the earbuds that came with your iPhone or iPod (and I don’t know why you would be – save your money up and invest in a decent pair of ear buds) you might find keeping them in your ear a problem, especially when exercising. EARBUDi takes the standard Apple ear buds and turns them into over the ear sport style ones with just one click. The rubberized ear loops snap on to the back side of the Apple ear buds magically transforming them into a pair of ear buds that won’t fall out even when you’re most active.
Each set of EARBUDi sells for $10 and they are available via Amazon.com.

Video Review: Vapur Anti-Bottle from ScotteVest
Plastic, disposal water bottles are a pain. Not only are they bad for you when used repeatedly but they are bad for the environment as well. A refillable water bottle is where it’s at these days but choosing one isn’t as easy as you’d think. Most of the “sport” bottles can release harmful chemicals when washed in the dishwasher, and nobody wants that. The Vapur Anti-Bottle is different. Not only is it safe but when empty it rolls up flat and can be easily stored in your gear bag or even one of the pockets of your ScotteVest jacket. Even when filled the Vapur Anti-Bottle secures perfectly inside the special water bottle compartment ScotteVest offers in each of it’s jackets.

Video Review: Yurbuds Ironman Endure Sport Headphones
I’ve been on what seems like a never ending search for a pair of headphones to use while I’m running. Some either fit poorly and pop out of my ears while others just don’t pump out enough volume to hear while I’m on the treadmill. After using the Yurbuds Ironman Endure Sport Headphones for a few treadmill runs I believe my search for the perfect pair of workout headphones is over. The Endure are lightweight, super comfortable, stay in my ears and are loud enough to hear anything even over the noise of the treadmill belt and my feet pounding on it. Best of all the Endure are affordable, priced at only $29.99. Check out my video review above and then head to this page on the Yurbuds web site to learn more.
Wear A Mouthguard for Golf and Tennis?
You probably have seen professional athletes wearing mouth guards. However, more than likely you’ve seen them doing so on the football field and not on the golf course. Under Armour, the company best known for its athletic clothing, is now offering a mouth guard for sports with little or no contact such as golf, tennis, running and swimming. The new ArmourBite isn’t meant to protect your teeth from direct contact though.
The company says when you’re find yourself in a tense situation, like standing over your golf ball on the first tee, with a small crowd of other golfers watching, your body produces cortisol, a “performance sapping stress hormone.” The ArmourBite positions your jaw in such a way that you don’t produce cortisol leaving you stress free. The result is a more open airway that helps increase endurance, and a more balanced jaw that helps improve strength, speed, and reaction time.
A boil and size version of the ArmourBite sells for $29.99 and you can learn more about it here.
