Review: Griffin Intellicase for New iPad
Griffin is a well-known manufacturer of accessories for a plethora of gadgets, and has been around for quite some time. Although Griffin is a rather large company, many of their products have been hit or miss for me: some of their cases are atrociously bad, while others shine. Due to the blockbuster success of Apple's Smart Cover, many companies have attempted to create products that mimic both the aesthetics and function of Apple's shining star. Griffin's Intellicase for the new iPad is one of those products. How did it fare? Read on to find out.
Review: Cygnett Icon Art Series Case for iPhone 4/4S
I don't do well trusting brands that I have never heard of, and Cygnett fit that description perfectly. I had (very faintly) heard of Cygnett, but had not even come close to touching one of their products. I'm thankful that I got the opportunity to test out the Icon Art Series case for iPhone 4/4S. Review: Manvex Folio-Style Cases for New iPad/iPad 2
For many consumers, from business professionals to the average Joe, leather is an attractive material for gadget cases, especially the iPad, as it's used in many business professional settings. Manvex sent me two of their latest offerings for the new iPad, both folio-style cases. Read on for my full remarks.
Review: Apple SuperDrive for MacBook Air and Mac Mini
When Apple first introduced the MacBook Air and then later updated the Mac Mini they showed their intentions on where the future of the optical drive lay. By choosing to remove the drive entirely they made space to add more battery as well as slimline the product. I don't find myself missing the optical drive but on the odd time that I need to read a DVD on my Air Apple has given me an accessory that fits the bill - the SuperDrive. Read on for more.

Video Review: VANS Off the Wall Case for iPhone 4/4s
It’s one of the more sought after iPhone 4/4s cases and nearly impossible to find. The VANS Off the Wall case started out as a promotional giveaway. After seeing it’s popularity VANS began making the case in very limited quantities. Even today a brief check on Ebay yields a handful of cases being sold for two or three times their retail price. The VANS case uses the same materials that the company’s shoes use but unlike the shoes which are available in what seems like a endless amount of styles the case only comes in one.
So is the VANS case something special? Or is it so popular because of the fact that it’s so hard to find? Click on through for my full video review and find out.
Radio Shack And Target Slash Prices On iPhone 4/4S
Just a few days ago, some local Target retail stores had started discounting the base models of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4 which regularly sells for $99, is now being sold for $49 with a two-year contract, and similarly the iPhone 4S which sells for $199 is selling for $149. Well now Radio Shack has done the same, discounting all iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S models on all carriers by $50. On top of that, Radio Shack will also accept any trade in items you may have to help lower the cost of the new device even further. Unfortunately both deals require a visit to the store to see if the offer is even being offered in the local retail store. These offers are not valid online.
Like the slim form factor of the Apple Smart Cover but wish it was more protective? There are plenty of cases for the iPad that combine the Smart Cover design into a case with a back. However, the Nutkase iExecutive is the first I’ve come across that also offers a handy carrying strap too. The iExecutive is available three color options: black, red and brown and each is crafted from ec0-leather. Click on through to watch my video review of the Nutkase iExecutive. Video Review: Just Mobile UpStand for the iPad
If you’re a fan of the design Apple uses for most of their products you’re sure to be a fan of Just Mobile. Much of their design process seems to mirror Apple’s and that means you’ll keep the same look and feel across all your computer and mobile device accessories. The UpStand is a perfect example of this, drawing an easy comparison to the iMac with it’s aluminum base. The UpStand works with all variations of the iPad providing a sturdy base for transforming your iPad into either a video screen or mobile office.

Video Review: ScotteVest Ultimate Cargo Pant
ScotteVest is best know for it’s TEC clothing which combines an insane amount of hidden pockets in garments that are super comfortable to wear, light weight and easy to travel with. While the company’s Ultimate Cargo Pant does meet all of those criteria it takes things one step further by transforming from a pair of pants to a pair of shorts in a quick second. Last week, while on a trip to Phoenix, these served me very well. I left Philadelphia where it was 35 degrees in pants and landed in Phoenix where it was 90 in shorts without having to go to the bathroom to charge or dirty another item from my suitcase.
