Sceptre Adds 32-inch Unit to Family of LED HDTVs with Built-In DVD Player

Sceptre, has announced the availability of their newest LED HDTV with built-in DVD player, a 32-inch unit featuring surround sound audio capability and superb energy efficiency.

With a true 31.5-inch crystal clear viewable area, the E325BD-HD provides the design and convenience needed for smaller spaces without sacrificing image quality. The unit features 720P LED, a 1366×768 resolution and a true widescreen 16:9 ratio while boasting 3 HDMI ports, giving users the option of connecting multiple devices at the same time without needing to disconnect and exchange cables.

“Sceptre understands that cables can be one of the biggest eyesores in a room, especially in an era saturated with electronic devices,” said Cathy Chou, Vice President of Operations, Sceptre. “By embedding a DVD player into the unit, Sceptre gives consumers added space and eliminates the need of cables.”

The energy efficient E325BD-HD has an estimated yearly energy cost of only $11, measures less than 2 inches thick and weighs less than 20.3 lbs with stand. Additional features include an Energy Star V5.3 compliant, compatibility with all major signals, including ATSC/NTSC and Clear QAM, and multiple automatic audio and video enhancements including 3D Comb Filter, audio dynamic contrast enhancement, noise reduction and more.

The E325BD-HD is currently available online at NewEgg, Costco, Sears, QVC and Kmart for $599 MSRP.

Thank you for posting on this, Larry! This could be just the value I’m looking for. I had a Hopper home DVR installed on Saturday; it connects all the TVs in my home in HD, so now I have an excuse to upgrade my kid’s rooms to HD. I haven’t really heard of the Sceptre brand, so I don’t know if it’s any good. Thankfully, I work with a woman at DISH who knows just about everything when it comes to HDTVs, and she volunteered to go shopping with me so I don’t waste my money. We will check out this Sceptre model. 32” inches might be a little big for my kids, but the built in DVD player would save a lot of space.
