Bodyguardz is best known for its impeccably clear screen protection, but now they’re trying their hand at making actual cases for the iPhone which are very customizable. Each package comes with three different slide-out back plates. Larry took a look at the MyKase back in February and now I’m ready to offer my thoughts.
Continue to read on for the full review.
The package of the MyKase consists of 3 parts. You have the back plate, the top frame and the bottom frame. With the standard pack you get 3 different back plates which are a matte black, a glossy yellow and white and also a screen protector kit; anything else you want you will need to order separately.
You can tell a difference from the glossy back plates to the matte versions, the matte version you are less likely to have a large amount of scratches as you would on the glossy version.
The bottom of the case has large cut-out shape to fit the dock connector and also the speakers/microphone.
There is also one large cut-out for the volume buttons and the ringer switch, this makes it compatible with all iPhone 4/4S models.
The sleep/awake button is cut-out along with the headphone jack and secondary microphone. The headphone jack is cut out enough to allow more then the standard headphones to be plugged in.
The Bodyguardz Mykase is a great way to customize your iPhone to your liking, maybe your favorite colors or maybe you have a photo of that brand new baby you want to show off. There is a way to do it with the Bodyguardz Mykase, all you have to do is customize it the way you want it and have it sent to you and then you show off your design, your website or anything you want!
