Why is Glee Afraid to show their Apple Pride?

If you follow my “Tech on TV” segment you probably have seen me mention sighting Apple products more than once.  This week something struck me as curious.  See anything missing from the image above?  While Kurt and Blaine held a Facetime chat from Ohio to NYC on their dual MacBook Pros there was no sight of Apple logos anywhere.

I didn’t think much of it until later in the episode where I spotted an iPhone being used to snap a photo of Rachel and her new friend.  The iPhone was also missing it’s Apple logo (see the image after the break.)

Before you jump, no the phone above wasn’t wrapped in a case.

So what gives Glee?  You use Apple products time and time again on your show but now you’re afraid to show it?  Or is it you’re afraid to pay Apple whatever it is they require for product placements?
