CableJive has announced the dockBoss+ iPhone 5 Kit, which allows you to connect iPhone 5 and all Lightning-connector devices to existing iPhone/iPod docks. The most amazing part—when attached to a iPhone/iPod 30-pin dock that accepts digital audio, dockBoss+ pulls digital audio signal through the Lightning connector, requiring only the iPhone 5-provided cable to both charge and listen. The crystal clear digital audio through the lightning sync cable is amazing, and something not covered in the press yet. If the dock isn’t digital, dockBoss+ includes a 1/8″ audio cable to plug sound from the iPhone 5 headphone into the dockBoss+ for analog audio.
