Back in the day I trained and ran for 12 full marathons. Because of family commitments I did a majority of my training in the early morning hours, sometimes when it was still dark. In order to avoid the hazards of the road I wore a head lamp. This helped me see potholes, cracks, road kill and other obstacles that might have otherwise caused me to fall had I not seen them. The head lamp that I wore was your garden variety head lamp. The type you’d find at any outdoor store. One that was probably meant for camping and hiking but served my purpose of running in the dark just fine. However, had I known about this Darth Vader head lamp at the time I would of totally rocked it instead. Okay, the LEGO headlamp is really for kids 3 and up but I’m definitely a kid at heart and who couldn’t use the Force to help when tackling a 20 mile training run?
