Amazon Launches Instant Video App for iPad

Yesterday Hulu Plus and Apple TV users got the good news that the two streaming icons had joined ways.  Today Amazon Prime members and iPad users get to taste some of the same goodness.  Amazon has launched a new streaming video app for the iPad.  The app allows members of Amazon’s Prime service to access over 120,000 videos.  You can also download purchased and rented videos from your video library for offline viewing on airplanes, road trips, or any time a WiFi connection is unavailable.

If you’re an Amazon Prime member (if you’re not and use Amazon often you should be) you can grab the free app here (link opens iTunes.)
