If you are a multi OS user like myself, using Mac OS along with Windows 7, you might come to miss the window snapping that happens when you throw a window against the side of the screen when using Windows. This allows you to easily manage windows on your screen.

Today I booted up my Mac App Store because I had realized that I accidentally removed Cinch from my computer yesterday. I typed “cinch” in search, and was shocked to see that Cinch only has 6 reviews (all 5 star for a reason).

Cinch installs and runs seamlessly in the background of your computer, it’s like you don’t even realize that its there. Once installed it just works, Simply grab the browser page/word document/whatever you are using, throw it to the left or right to assign it to that half of the screen. Other than that you can move it to the top of the screen to expand it to full screen. Exceptionally nice for when you are using a web browser

You can buy Cinch in the Mac App Store

MSRP : $6.99

Pros : Simple, easy to use, works flawlessly

Cons : In a world where people pay $0.99 for an app. $6.99 may seem excessive, but its more than worth it for a great piece of computer software.
