Re-Review: Cygnett Apollo Hybrid Case

Apollo fuses together an anti-scratch and fingerprint-proof surface with a grooved, shock-absorbent interior. It attaches securely to keep out dust and dirt, yet removes with ease. Raised side edges and screen protector ensure complete 360-degree protection.

Continue to read on for my full review.

Opening the packaging you are greeted with the case and some goodies such as a screen protector, squeegee, cleaning cloth and instructions on how to apply the screen protector that is provided.

The front of the case has a nice rubberized lay on the table design so if you place your phone down on a slippery surface it’s going to have a nice grip with no slipping if bumped and also of course your not going to have to worry if you are not using a screen protector because its has a nice gap between the phone in the case and the surface you place it down on.

The back has a nice matte feel, and a rounded cut-out shape for your camera and flash with a black ring so you will not have any flash back issues.

At the top of the case you can see the power/on & off switch is covered and raised up so it’s easy to switch the phone on and off when need, and the headphone port and secondary mic are nicely cut-out and exposed with no issues.

The bottom of the case has exposed separate openings for the speaker, microphone and docking port which are nicely cut but can make it difficult to dock with certain docking connections.

The left side of the case has a semi-large cut out of the ringer switch and can be used with both iPhone 4 and 4S. The volume rocker on the other hand is nicely covered and rubberized which makes it easy to use.

The Cygentt Apollo case would be a great case to add to your iPhone collection. It’s not bulky, it’s easy in the hands, keeps your iPhone protected, and is easy to get your iPhone in and out of the case unlike some other cases on the market. The case is lined inside with a rubberized material so your iPhone is shock protected and it can put your mind at ease just incase you drop it. The case also curves over your iPhone so you have a nice lay on the table design; the rubberized material going over the iPhone does not bubble the screen protector which is another plus for this case.

If you’re the type of person who likes a durable cases check out Cygnetts website.

I'm a g33k, or a n3rd whatever you want to call me because that is where my nickname comes from "neek" kind of a nerd + geek combination. I love handling electronics and technology, learning new things and helping others with tutorials with my YouTube video's. I like playing games but I don't consider myself a "fangirl" of any system/game because I own all console's (PS3, and Xbox 360), but out of all character's I still love my Mario games!
