Today, one of our favorite companies at Run Around Tech, TwelveSouth, introduced an updated version of its famous case: the BookBook. Made specifically for the new iPad and the iPad 2, the updated version of the BookBook features a 33% slimmer design, weighing in at just 358 grams.
The new BookBook features an multiple-angle interior stand to allow users to do more than carry or use the iPad in landscape mode for consuming media. Not only does the new stand act as a rigid support frame for holding the iPad in place, but you can simply extend the stand to enter “typing mode”. Furthermore, you can extend the stand even more for a traditional BookBook experience: watching a movie or using FaceTime.
The new BookBook also brings a new color scheme along: Classic Black. Now, users can choose from three tasteful versions: Vintage Brown, Classic Black, or Vibrant Red. The new BookBook for the New iPad and iPad 2 is available now from TwelveSouth’s website for $79.99.
