There are plenty of television shows these days in which Mac products are prominently featured. Some choose to display the Apple logo for all to see while others choose to hide it. “How I Met Your Mother,” which airs on CBS, is one show which takes the latter approach. I’ve spotted several Mac products in episodes over the past few years including the iPhone and the Mac computer line. However the Apple logo on each is always covered up. In last nights episode I clearly spotted a MacBook Air on Barney’s (character played by Neil Patrick Harris) desk however the Apple logo was conveniently covered up with some sort of logo. I don’t protest to know how television shows decide whether or not to cover the logos of specific brands or not. Another one of my favorite shows, “House,” which airs on FOX, choose to show off their MacBook Pro’s and the Apple logo in each and every episode. I’m sure it has to do with money though – doesn’t everything?
