Warning: You Never Know When Google Maps Might Be Watching

The Google Maps street view picture above shows the scene in front of the house where I grew up.  My mother still lives there.  But that’s not what’s interesting about this address.  What is interesting is the street view image of my mother’s neighbor’s house.  The house to the right.  So walk with me just a few feet down the road……

It seems the day the folks at Google Maps decided to take a trip down my mother’s road to photograph images for “street view” her neighbor was enjoying a sunny day at her back yard pool.  That’s her in the image below in her bathing suit!  I haven’t spoken to her directly about it but based on what my mother has told me she’s not all that pleased that a picture of her in her swim suit is up on the internet for the entire world to see.

So let this be a lesson to all.  Be careful how you choose to strut around your own property.  You never know when that pesky Google Maps vehicle is going to be doing a drive by, camera rolling, ready to capture you in whatever compromising position you’ve chosen to put yourself in.
